Amazon.ca Product Description Simple. Intuitive. Easy to use. Connect the Wii MotionPlus accessory to your Wii Remote controller to increase accuracy and enhance play control on compatible games. Look on the back of Wii Game Disc packaging to see which games are specially designed for use with Wii MotionPlus. Wii MotionPlus contains additional sensors that make the Wii Remote respond to the slightest movement, motion, or twist of the wrist. Wii MotionPlus must be used with a Wii Remote, which is sold separately.

Wii MotionPlus March 18, 2010 Cordell G. Prediger (Edmonton, AB Canada) So far, only Wii Resort requires the MotionPlus adapter. It can be used with all the other Wii games though without any ill effects. It's pretty easy to install, certainly not difficult. Just be careful when putting it on the controller not to pinch or crimp anything.

I don't think it was totally necessary to buy this with the products I bought but it was suggested. Haven't used it yet and have played Resort, Wii Plus, Fishing Game.
not perfect but good enough January 20, 2010 J. Scanlan (British Columbia CA) We purchased the Wii Motion Plus along with Wii Fitness Plus and the Sports package. At ages 59 and 71, we're in need of daily exercise and we aren't in super shape. The Motion Plus attachment helps to identify our movements accurately enough for us to see what we're doing well and what needs improvement. There is sometimes a very minor lag between when we move and when our avatars move, but once you get used to the timing it can be worked around. Perhaps those who are very keen on expert game playing will be bothered.

This is a great product it really expands on the capabilities of the Wii and makes wii games more fun to play. I would definitely recommend any Wii owner or perspective buyer to purchase a MotionPlus add-on for each of their Wii remotes.
Too much but not enough. September 4, 2009 R. Fisher (Montreal, Canada) 3 out of 13 found this review helpful
I had hoped for a more life-like swing path but was hugely disappointed. The new game asks for one more step than the old one (push 'B' before setting up for a shot) and then has a difficult time picking up the back swing. It registers a slice very easily, however, which I don't feel frustrated about because I have a tendency to slice in real golf.
Putting is the most frustrating action, to the point where I have stopped playing because it won't pick up the swing and I find myself flailing away until the sensor decides it's time to send the ball rocketing past the hole (Please note that on the original version I had worked myself up to the Pro level with an approximate 1150 rating).
I'm extremely disappointed by this offering and the only reason I give it a 2 star instead of a 0 is because the graphics continue to be fun and there are some course selection options, which were not there in the original version.
Overall, I'm sorry I dropped the money on it because it is very disappointing and extremely frustrating.
